What's Your Favorite Doll Pattern

Gather round the table, and tell us- what's YOUR favorite Doll pattern?  Tell us, tell us!

Me first, me first.  I've used many patterns, and I actually like non-commercial patterns the best.  One of my favorites was found in an old book; I made quite a few dolls from the book, some were sent with a missionary to Africa.  Here's 2, a pigtail doll, and a costume doll.

Her tunic was draped on her. Tiny stitches were used to make her face.

And my pigtail doll, was made for my daughters; when they got older, she came back to me.

So add your comments, and let us know - what your favorite pattern is, was!

Wanna learn to make this doll? Send me an email, and I'll tell you how!  She's a beautiful African Queen.  My sister commissioned this one as an award that was given at a Women's dinner.  It was quite a while ago. africandoll.jpg
I chopped the recipient  out, because the doll is important!!  View the another version of this doll in my gallery.  She's quite a unique doll, her body is a wood block, and she even has sandals made of cardboard.
So that's it for today.  If you'd like to learn how to make her, pop me an email for instructions.
